Lead without losing yourself

I know what it’s like to be a leader trying to live your values and stave off burnout in organizational contexts that ask us to compromise what matters to us in the name of success.

The leaders who come to me for coaching tend to be purpose-driven, passionate, and committed to social change. They want to know how to wield their personal and organizational power in ways that align with their values, support individual and collective wellbeing, and get us closer to the worlds we’re working to build.

Through focused, confidential conversations, I help leaders gain clarity, make wiser decisions, and feel more confident in embodying and using their power in service of change.

My coaching clients include:

  • Executive leaders navigating complex organizational landscapes or implementing strategic change

  • Academics and research team leaders seeking to grow their skills in leadership and management without losing sight of their professional goals

  • Health system leaders working to create more equitable and human-centred approaches to care

  • Emerging leaders moving into roles with increased complexity and responsibility.

My approach

My coaching approach is grounded in more than fifteen years of experience as a leader and people manager, strategist, and facilitator, as well as training in adaptive leadership, working in complexity, and trauma-informed practice. I’m adept at getting to the heart of the questions, helping you discern what matters most, and balancing the visionary and pragmatic aspects of our work.

what you can expect:

  • Incisive thought partnership for your trickiest workplace questions and challenges, with room to laugh and cry about the hard parts

  • Foregrounding of our whole selves as leaders, workers, caregivers, and people with finite limits on our energy and capacity

  • Attention to embodiment and relationality because what’s happening in and between our bodies makes a difference in our work

  • Real talk from a trusted partner who can help you articulate the insights and questions that will help you get clearer on what you need to do, and why

  • Bolstering your courage to do what’s right for you, your team, and your organization

REGULAR sessions:

Most clients meet with me bimonthly, monthly, or quarterly for 60-minute, focused conversations that combine reflection, strategic thinking, and practical application. Sessions typically take place via video call, with email support between meetings as needed.

Engagement Length:

While some clients prefer the flexibility of month-to-month coaching, many choose to commit to a 6-month engagement that allows for deeper development and sustainable change. We'll discuss what structure would best support your goals during our initial conversation.

Which is best for you?

Coaching vs. Consulting

Coaching

Coaching focuses on supporting your individual leadership development and effectiveness. As your coach, I serve as a thinking partner who helps you develop your own insights, strategies, and approaches.

Consulting

Consulting addresses organizational challenges and strategies. As a consultant, I work with teams to develop specific solutions, facilitate group processes, and create organizational strategies.

Many clients engage with both services, either simultaneously or sequentially. I'm happy to discuss which approach might best serve your current needs during an initial conversation.
